About this activity
On the 10th Feb. 2017, the department of Electrical Engineering had organized an industrial visit for 25 students of the 6th semester Sanjaybhai Rajguru College of Diploma Engineering who were accompanied by four of the faculties of the department. The visit was to the GWIL industry at rajkot.
The company is government organization. Which is watering plant for narmada project. There is a pumping station which pumps water as mid level booster. The water come from surendra nagar district and is boosted to Jamnagar pumping station. There are about six 500 KW rated electric motor to pump the water. There are also control panel in which vacuum circuit breaker and all relay protection system are available for protection of entire electrical system of station.
